With a population of approximately 1423, Bodega Bay is conveniently located near population centers of Sebastopol (13 miles), Santa Rosa (19 miles), Petaluma (26 miles), Oakland (56 miles) and San Francisco (52 miles).
Due to its easy access from Highways 101 and 12, many San Francisco and Sacramento area residents make Bodega Bay their primary coastal stop and these tourists comprise a significant percentage of Gourmet au Bay’s revenues.
Nearby attractions include about 100 wineries along Russian River, excellent dining, surfing, canoeing, kayaking, coastal hiking, biking and horseback riding. The Links at Bodega Harbour provide some of the best views from one of the best golf courses in Northern California.
